Cats Accessory (III) - Cat Bowl

Your cat needs separate food and water bowl. It's bets to avoid plastic container as it is believed it can cause a skin condition called rodent ulcers on the mouth of some cats. Also, it is believe that water that place in the plastic container is easily contaminated with bacterias, the water may also turn be smelly due to the chemical reaction of the plastic material. Plastic also scratches, providing an ideal place for bacteria to grow.

Ceramic or stainless steel is a better choice. Avoid double bowls with water on one side and food in the other. The food tends to slop into the water and vice versa. Wash and refill both food and water bowls at least once daily.
